Seriously good film! Very funny, dark, sad, fast-paced, action-packed excellent acting and superbly put-together dialogue. A real treat; this film is quirky and funny without being pretentious. Worth a wtach for so many other reasons- I would definitely recommend!

Black humour treat

A Customer from Leicester, 15th November, 2009

I think I ordered this when I was feeling particularly enamoured of Colin Farrell, and I had forgetton about it until it arrived. Played it on a boring Sunday afternoon, and was royally entertained. Brilliant characterisation, great story line, black humour, bit of violence & sex and the fabulous Mr Farrell, looking fetchingly vunerable at times. Yummy ! What a treat, so much so I've just been online and ordered a copy. All in all highly recommended, probably this is more a blokes film but plenty to keep us girls riveted. I loved it ! PS Don't miss on the extras menu - the deleted scenes, (some of these are brilliantly funny) and F**king Bruges -hilarious as long as you're Ok with the language.

Great film. I didnt expect it to be so good. The suspense was built up really well.
There was also a good sense of humour through the film. This was a brilliiant friday night film - I unexpectedly had to stay in, this made it worthwile!

well over rated

Brendon Gleeson is a fine actor. Colin Farrell is a rubbish comedy actor. He is about as comedic as Mel Gibson. One is simply trying too hard. Colin young man, you'd be more use bringing sexual pleasure to 60 something actresses, in fact I'd respect you more if you did. (see Eileen Atkins-wiki site.)

Excellent in Lots of Ways

FGRTommo from , 12th November, 2009

I really enjoyed this - particularly as I hadn't expected such excellence. The relationship between the killers, the plotting and the action itself was all great. There was a great mix of tension, action and humour. We really got into the heads of the two killers and it all felt so natural - albeit on the wild side at times. Gritty, exciting and fun.

Surprise.

A Customer from Dunstable, England., 11th November, 2009

This film was rated high by other viewers,so I thought I`d give it a try. I`d never particularly liked Colin Farrell, thought he was a typical loudmouthed drunken product of todays film industry...a would be Richard Harris or Oliver Reed! But....after his performance in this film, it doesn`t matter if he is! He was great. And his co-star whose name escapes me...(sorry)! . This was a very funny, thrilling, highly enjoyable piece of work. Full marks!
