An amazing series!

A Customer from Cambridge, England, 2nd August, 2006

Prison Break has had me stuck to the TV wanting more and more of it. I'm glad I rented it as I watched as many as I could in one go! Its funny, serious and exciting all rolled up into one. The story can turn at any point and you can't help but hold your breath... just hoping they get to escape!... Well most of them!

This is absolutely the best series I have watched for years. It is exciting and believable from the very first episode. The suspense waitng for each new DVD almost kills me. Brilliant acting, on the edge of the seat performances from the whole cast.

Brilliant

Forbez from from Fraserburgh, 10th June, 2007

Im a huge 24 fan and thought nothing could come close to its superiority - but this does. Its an ingenius plot with many twists. It shows the way of life inside a prison and the corruption that goes on inside bars, but it's nothing near a documentary style film. Its got action thrills and plenty of bits where your on the edge of your chair thinking - will they do it without getting caught? It only gets better in part 2 - i cant wait for disc 2. Honestly though. Dont miss out on this. I mean dont get me wrong there are no huge explosions and bombs blowing up - no nuclear missiles and no presidential assinations. However this series make up for it in ingenuity and realisticness. Everything that happens in this prison break is possible. Thats the beauty behind it.

Warning Addictive TV!

Steven A'Hearne from London,England, 7th June, 2007

Warning Prison Break is highly addictive! For all those of you out there who like your Lost, 24 e.t.c this is simply a must see. I missed this when it first was on tv (hidden away on channel 5) but with a friends recommendation I am glad I added it to my list. The show centers around michael a straight living guy who gets himself sent to prison to try and help his brother escape from death row. Once you get past this slightly over the top idea you will be hooked by the amazing cast and more twists and turns than an Alton Towers rollercoaster. This is Prison Drama at it's best, actually it's TV at it's best!

Break Out

ReLoadeR from from Derby, 5th June, 2007

After missing the first few episodes of Prison Break on the telly i decided to add them to my rental list and watch them from the start. It turned out to be a great choice. This programme will have you hooked from the very opening scene to the closing scene. It draws you in and you just have to keep watching because you want to find out what happens next. You get close to the characters (which i find important) and find yourself screaming at the telly trying to help them. Don't get me wrong, it has all your stereotypical prison inmate personas, but it doesn't spoil it in anyway. The bottom line is give this one a go, you wont regret it.

whats all the fuss

glummy from from Tiverton, 4th July, 2008

I was told that this was a TV series to rival 24 a real 'lets watch one more before we go to bed' series. No way badly written poorly acted sterotypes not characters and a plot so absurd as to be unbelievable. If it was on TV and there was nothing else to do i still wouldn't watch it. drivel!

Good stuff!

Jamjar1 from , 17th July, 2007

It's about a bloke who gets himself in prison in order to save his brother, whom is on death row. Well, I tried watching this on TV (C5?), but found it was on too late and waay past my bedtime, and so I kept missing episodes and then, later on, just forgot about it. Now we have the chance of seeing it properly and we have enjoyed our 1st installment of Prison Break. It has plenty of on-the-edge-of -the-seat cliff hangers and it gets better and better with each episode. If you have enjoyed 24, then you'll enjoy Prison Break too ;o) Roll on to our next installment...we can't wait! :o)
