Too short

Was expecting good things from this film but just as I was waiting for the story to kick in the film ended. Unless they release a follow up I'd advise people to choose something else in the anime genre.

im soo disapointed in this movie just as your geting in to it its over 45 mins of just no pont!!! me and my fella love vampire movies but this just let us down.

I like Manga and Anime and I have watched other films by Production I.G, e. g. Ghost in the Shell, and I liked them but this one is not only overrated but even more p a i n f u l to watch!!! There are bits and pieces of a story and given more time it could have been a good story by that. There are only 2 characters with a shroud of story around them, Saya and David, but as their history is not developed and followed up ... Chance lost! The technical work of the movie is ok but not brilliant at the end of the day it is by Production I.G. and I would have expected it to be better. The length of the movie was disappointing as well with only 48 minutes running time. All in all - weak and overrated! How someone can rate this as a classic is a mystery to me.

Beautiful animation and real potential but doesn't get a chance to develop as it is so short. Just when I thought it was getting going it ended! Longer version please!

This doesn't have Japanese audio. So if you're ordering DVDs for language learning purposes then avoid this one!
