If you have a dog or had a dog this film may be worth watching, you will be able to relate to the story. Nice to watch with the family.

Rubbish

A Customer from Sevenoaks, 16th November, 2009

I caved into pressure from the missus to watch this film and it was utter tripe. She's a massive dog lover and also thought it was paw. Like a lot of American comedies there was no real story line and just a few semi-funny slapstick dog related moments that they crammed into the trailer. If you like animals and laughing then you'd be better off watching the animal section on You've Been Framed on a Saturday night. Or K-9 or Turner and Hooch......now they were good dog-films!

the dogs?

Waited for this in our house for weeks, based on the hype of it being one of the saddest films every made! Not to want to spoil it, but if you can't guess how a really sad film about a man and his dog is going to end, then it's no wonder some people gave this five stars for the sheer suprise. I have to say, we weren't suprised. It is a bit sad. But not enough to go nuts about. Quite enjoyable, watchable stuff. But not worth the hype.
