Oh My God ?!
A Customer from London, 16th March, 2009
What century are we living in again? I certainly don't need a film, book or man to tell me if a man I'm interested in is acting like a (bleep), I should forget it. This film seems to think all women are idiots who can't read between the lines. Ignore this patronising drivel ladies and feel better for it.

Stellar cast - Rubbish film Under no circumstances waste your money on this film. Most of the characters are annoying and the others just need a slap. I felt totally robbed after seeing this film and need to warn people. It tells you nothing you dont know already! Seriously stay away. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

different

not your normal chick flick it was very different not in a good or bad way just different. There were alot of characters to keep track on all holding different stories which interlinked throughout the film.I liked the cast and they worked well together it was simple yet complex at the same time.I came away from this feeling that it was ok i think they were trying to get a moral across to the viewers.A true depict of life i am not sure, it has a happy ending so for that it was ok...... sorry..........not a favorite

Should have been better
A Customer from Cambridge, 15th June, 2009
This film was such a dissapointment. It is ok to pass some time away. Considering all the Hollywood A-list actors in this film, it should have been a much better. Also it is just too long, you cannot wait for this film to end. Sorry guys this is not a great film.

Had to turn it off

My girlfriend really tried to watch this for what it is - a chick flick. We spent the first 30 mins open mouthed in horror because of the awful cringe worthy script, wishing every scene would end and hoping the next would be better. In the end we just couldn't bear all the sterotypes and the fact that none of the main characters were even a bit sympathetic, and we had to turn it off.

What can i say? i think EVERY girl in the country sat and watched this movie and said 'thats so me'. It was amusing, funny, life like and a well thought of movie. I like the link between characters to, thought that really added another dimension to it. Honestly girls RENT RENT RENT, get out the popcorn, tissues and Vino with your best friends and I bet you will all be saying 'that was so me or you'.
Im just not that into this!

Words cannot describe how bad this movie is. When you think about the sacrificies Emiline Pankhurst and the Suffragette movement suffered to get the vote and equal rights for women, just under 100 years later, along rolls this crap. A great cast including Drew Barrymore and Scarlett Johansson run around wittering about men not calling back and not committing to marraige turn the whole women race backwards to seem that they all are just desperate, needy, whiny shrews. It got so bad i had to turn it off after 35 minutes. Absolutely awful!

gave up after 35 mins - too slow and storyline too easy to figure out exactly what was going to happen.

At last a rom com that is not only for women but that men can watch too!
A Customer from SW London, 21st February, 2009
I was pleasantly surprised with this film. It wasn't my top choice to see it but got dragged to see it by a friend. I have read the book and enjoyed the refreshing common sense. The film did not hit the viewers with self help full on, instead it allowed the viewer to follow the lives of a few people and their relationships, which many of us, both men and women can relate to.What I really liked about the film is that it allowed the viewers to relate to the characters instead of cramming any specific view of whose right or wrong down the viewers throats!(something that is becoming increasingly popular). It's not an altogether hopeful film in the end, there are good endings and not so good endings, which I enjoyed because in real life not everyone walks off into the sunset happily ever after. For anyone like me, who initially didn't fancy seeing a film that was too 'self helpy' for it's own good, do go and see it.It's good fun too watch, with a good mix of some teary eyed moments and a few laughs and lessons along the way!

Not as good as I thought it would be!
cosmiclove from from London, 31st August, 2009
Definitely hyped by the media. I mean every time i turned on the t.v there was adverts for its cinema release, interviews with the cast. High profile actors in a bit of a crappy movie. I don't know how to describe what I didn't like about it, it was 'messy'?? to many story lines going on, too many characters. That's one way to describe it. The film never picked up. I was disappointed. I actually turned the film off before it ended, i didn't see the ending being anything special??
