Three days later, at the exact time of the call--which had an ominous, strange ring tone--it all comes true, with Yoko screaming as she dies. The calls continue as Yumi's friends fear that they will be next to hear the ring tone that foretells death. Meanwhile, Yumi is joined by Hiroshi (Shin'ichi Tsutsumi), whose sister was recently killed and who wants to get to the bottom of the mystery before more young women die.

The other reviewer must be confused

A Customer from Chepstow, 13th February, 2008

As you can see this isn't available to rent yet, and aside from that it's actually japanese, directed by the legendary tikashi miike. So not exactly a remake of japanese horror, but actually a japanese horror. I anticipate this movie being gorey and bizarre like many of miike's movies.

errrrr!

A Customer from Wigan, 2nd December, 2009

This film could have been great, if you can put the sillyness behind you then its a film well worth renting with a few good jumps and a spoonful of eirieness to go with it.

One Missed Call

It's an ok film, one or two scary moments but otherwise a bit of a let down. If you're easily scared than it might be for you. Slightly confusing at the end.

GOOOD!!

Lorne from , 27th August, 2009

Not jump out your seat scarey, but VERY creepy in places, with a couple of pretty gross scenes thrown in for good measure, this was a GOOD watch.
