I would punch this director in the face if I met him.

Reviewface from from Milton Keynes, 25th February, 2008

How messed up is it to make a film about the death of such a legend, and create emphasis on his death not life, And to make the gut who kiled him a well known name which is what he wanted when he should just be forgotten like the fool he is. my rating -1000...

Why !!!

Pauli from from Halifax, 27th April, 2008

I cannot understand why this film was made at all ! Unlike packaging behind film - no insite into Chapman at all. He did kill John Lennon ! Question - why his he now out !! Oh it's America and not oil !

Not bad

A Customer from London, 11th April, 2008

Although rather macabre, this portrayal of Mark Chapman seems to follow his life quite accurately and the locations are all real. The film never really gets to the answer of why he killed Lennon and the murder remains a brutal and pointless act by a deluded and confused man. If you know nothing about this, then it is worth a watch but people familiar with the event will find nothing new here. Fame is what Chapman wanted and making films like this only in the end satisfy him.

Suprised that I lked this film

A Customer from East Stour, 5th August, 2008

The fact that the words spoken were the actual words of the John Lennon killer made this a facinating film. Really enjoyed trying to understand what was going through his mind and why he did it.

Dark, depressing movie.....

Sams from from London, 2nd August, 2008

Watch this movie if you want to get into a dark, depressing place. Couldn 't wait for the movie to be over, but couldn't turn it off either. So what I am saying....dark but compelling!!

interesting

A Customer from london england, 15th July, 2008

I found this film interesting although rather slow but it did give a viewpoint on how and what Chapman was feeling at the time of the murder and also what happened in the aftermath. Worth a watch but be prepared for a long film in documentary fashion
