WOW!

larry546 from from Mansfield, 14th November, 2007

I hate this game! I really hate it. Simply because I now no longer want to play any other game. I was looking forward to a few new releases but now I find myself asking if these titles will still entertain me. Everything about this game is brilliant: the graphics are top-notch and I have yet to see the stuttering framerate found in many hi-def titles. The gameplay is excellent, blending astonishing realism with hollywood flare to deliver some cracking set-pieces. The voice acting is also welll written and delivered, making you actually care about your team-mates. COD 4's best feature has to be the online multiplayer, offering the player a high degree of customisation and freedom. Belive me, this game lives up to and exceeds the hype!

halo 3 beater?

A Customer from Northern Ireland, 16th September, 2007

call of duty has now decieded to move their world war two theme to modern day. Giving them some obviously exciting weapons and gadgets. The developers have also recently anounced that they will taking on aganist halo 3 on 360 and they will have console supremecy on ps3. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is going to be one of the biggest games, 'hopefully' this year

Call of Duty 4

Anton Charlton from Plymouth, 14th November, 2007

Having completed this game i rate it as the best Call of Duty game and one of the finest games on the market. Quite simply Infinity Ward hit the nail on the head moving the franchise away from WW2. The graphics are breath taking and I'd go as far to say that this is the best game since Horris goes Skiing on the ZX Spectrum.

A beautiful next Gen game. It took me less than 5 hours to complete. Not worth the £40 price tag.

By far the best game i have ever played

Noelfezza from , 23rd December, 2009

This truly was the best game I have ever had the pleasure of playing. In general I tend to stick to motorsport games and the GTA series, this was way more enjoyable than anything I have ever played. The sheer depth of detail in the levels is huge, the attention to detail is epic. The enemy AI is very realistic. The game at no point became repetetive or tedious like most other FPS I have played. The blood and gore can be gruesome but in a goodway, not just there for the sake of it but for realism. This is most definately the best COD I have played yet and beats Battlefield Bad company etc hands down. I did not get chance to play this online as internet was down, I will now purchase this title to keep. A game I could play endlessly.

Purely addictive

moeuk from , 23rd September, 2009

Forget the single player mode, this game is all about online gaming. I have notched up 50+ days since this game came out and have purchased quite a few top titles in that space of time. But not one of them lasted more than a day as I have been dragged back to cod4 due to cold turkey! If Carlesberg made video games then this would be it!
