Bret and Jermaine have come to the USA from New Zealand to make it big time with their band "Flight Of The Conchords". But things rarely run smoothly for these two hapless heroes.

Can't wait

The clip of this on the BBC site was really funny, so hopefully it'll be as good as that throughout. Okay I haven't actually seen this yet, but these guys are funny. Watch a couple of clips on Youtube (like the hiphop parody, and the robot 2000 song) and I bet you'll be reserving this too!

I saw this episode accidentally. I'd never heard of FOTC before and it just came on the telly. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

This is going to be big.

They are both brilliant musicians and comedy actors so not only is it funny but it's really groovy. Rhys Darby's character is pure genius.

Fantastic

The best way to describe Flight of the Conchords is a mix of Extras and The Mighty Boosh. I hope this will take the UK by storm as it seems to be a cult favourite in the US at the moment, if you like dry but surreal humour then this is for you!
Is this really a comedy?
ladyF from , 9th March, 2010
As I'm a lover of comedy, a friend recommended I watch this, I had heard of it but never got around to watching it on TV. I did have a feeling it might not be my sort of thing but I gave it a go and really didn't find it all funny, not even amusing. I guess it's just not my thing as so many people have been telling me its fab so I guess it's not for everyone. I really didn't get it. The same friend recommended the film 'Napoleon Dynamite' too and I hated that. We do have some similar tastes though!

6 episodes is too much in one sitting
roryoconnor from , 8th January, 2010
I loved this when it was on BBC3, so I rented the first series. I think I may have OD'ed however, watching them all in one sitting. It stopped being funny by the 4th episode, aside from a few one-liners. I think Flight of the Conchords is best consumed in small doses!

Band photos...
ReTracer from , 7th August, 2009
'one photo doesnt have you in it, the other photo, you're in it, but you shouldn't be' What a band manager.... This series is so funny it hurts. The lines are delivered with such deadpan seriousness, the most banal situations are explosive with comic humour. The fact that Jemaine and 'Brit' are also super talented musos just makes this series a jewel in the crown of TV entertainment. Thoroughly recommended.
Genius

One of the cleverest comedies I've seen. A work of genius. Check out 'Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros' on YouTube to see the best of these guys. Tell them Steve sent you.
