sent it back without a play

after spending 5 hours trying to get the ps3 connected to the internet, i gave up and sent this game back as it was online only. what is the point of making a game exclusively online to encourage gamers to go online, when the ps3 instruction manual offers no help getting the ps3 online, other than to say refer to your interet provider, who are less than useless, at a cost of 25p per minute. there must be a lot of people scratching their heads who do not have an educational certificate in computers, who don't get off on wading through internet forums, who question why plugging the ps3 into the internet should be such an unsatisfying frustration. where is the dedicated ps3 support helpline?

This game is amazingly good. After being a hardened BF2 and BF2142 fan, i was thinking this was going to be a scaled down version. But, alas it isnt, setting it up is real easy, if you cant work it out then there are loads of forums to help. The flying part of the game is brilliant and satisfying, especially once you kill someone for the first time and hearing it in 5.1 (if you have it, if you do turn the bass to full, its awesome) The vehicle bit isnt as impressive as other games like this ie BF2, but then again the flying is way better unlike in BF2 where its a bit iffy. Even if you have the slowest internet connection you will be able to play. A definite buy, dont rent it as you will never give back the disc:-p

Its ok

This Game is Ok But I prefer Battlefield games. Soon People will Stop Playing this game so it will be sitting Gathering Cobwebs as there is no Campains or Skirmish's so i think would be a waste of money to buy in the Long run. Unless you have Some Friends that will play with you all the time. The vehicles Arent as Good as BattleField Games but this Game does Have a Impressive AirCraft Battle and Like All Games its just a Matter of Getting use to the Controll's. Getting Online is easy (If you have Problems Connecting then it will be down to your PS3 Config) I have mine on Wirless and i had 0! lag or Problems Connecting In the Short run this is a Very nice game But in the Long run when people stop playing it would be a waste. i would Suggest people Try before you buy.

I loved this and i reallyam not interested in planes ... but this was just incredible :) the flying was just awesome aswell .. i was just immersed flying around .. the tanks were good aswell just blowing people and aeroplanes aprart....BOOOOOOMMM buy this or rent it i reccomend rent as there are more amazing games that this out atm :) this game unfortuantely did get boring when you play it for about 5 hours straight so only play it 3 hours a day max so it doesnt get boring :) thank you

Not too Bad

I found this game to be a bit tricky, You get a short training guide that takes about half an hour before you then go online and play proper. The problem is most servers have experienced players who will kill you very quickly so you cant really learn how to play the game properly. This is the sort of game you would have to invest a lot of time practicing before being able to enjoy it. You will need to find a quiet server with n00bs to learn the ropes properly. I am going to wait a while and buy it when it's a bit cheaper.

Don't bother

Unless you have been playing this game since its launch don't bother trying to play it because EVERYBODY is amazing so as soon as you join a server it's simply i spawn, i die, i spawn, i die, and if you are lucky enough to get to a warhawk you have an average of 5 seconds in the air before you are destroyed. This game would of been good if you had from it's launch but now there is simply no point in even trying to play it.

Good start, but unplayable

A brilliant tutorial starts off the game, but as the game is online only you get thrown straight into the action, there are no maps available for new players, and where it is good to see a healthy number of people still playing the game, it is not enjoyable to get into a game just to be killed every 10 seconds!
