You might be happy you'll never 'after watch this...

Its a decent film, with decent enough animation, but in Shrek style it parodies and incorporates many other fairytales, but where shrek really hits the funny bone with characters such as the Gingerbread man etc, this just falls a bit flat and does not have the same cleverness to what humour it has. Don't get me wrong, it will pass a fun hour and a half with younger children, but older children or adults will be left dissapointed, as very much unlike Shrek etc, it does not have humour that will appeal to them. All in all not a total lost hour or so, but there are better.

The Cinderella story with a twist

bella411 from , 11th December, 2007

I was expecting more from this film. I suppose it is fine for children under eleven years old but not really suitable for anyone older. This movie was trying to follow in Shrek's lead but it was not even close. The main focus was on the cinderella story but it tried to mix other fairy tales and another storyline to it which could have made it better but unfortunately in this case made it worse.

brilliant

This is one of those animated films that really connects with adults as well s children. I would say my youngest at 4 thought bits were a bit scary but she did sit through it watching all the characters like Rapunzel and Cinderella.

Happily Never After

A different take on fairy tales so it's an interesting storyline. Animation is a little odd and some of the characters are a little weird but there's a splash of action, comedy and romance, a children's film more than an adult cartoony.

NIce all round fun family film, watch out for the special dance moves by the monsters - reminiscent of 'The Office' - nice bit of fun for the grown ups.
