A deadly shape-shifting assassin (Robert Patrick) is sent back in time to succeed where his cyborg predecessor failed--to eliminate Sarah Connor's son (Edward Furlong) before he gets a chance to make history, leading the humans in a war against the machines. T2 - Judgement Day HD DVD

Simply outstanding in HD! Already one of the classics of years gone by, but made so much better by watching it in HD. The only down side possibly would be that the special effects are far more obvious now. As the picture is so much clearer you can see how some of the special effects are done. Like when Arnie first appears .... This is only a small down side though, and should in now way put you off renting this. Outstanding in High Def and a must for anyone with a HD DVD player.

Terminator 2

I thought that having the chance to watch a classic futuristic movie in HD was going to be excellent. I have to say that the film was a lot longer than I remember although this may have been because it was the directors cut. I thought that films that were two and a half hours long were more akin to movies produced in the last five to ten years. This is a good movie, but Arnie's delivery was quite poor of his somewhat limited number of lines. It was good to see a movie from my childhood and still get a deal of enjoyment from it.
