Pleasantly surprised

I didn't really know what to expect from this film after reading some quite negative reviews. I was, however very pleasantly surprised at how good this film was. It is based on a true story and manages to mix the horrors of war with a giant crocodile who has developed a taste for human flesh. The crocodile looks amazing and obviously a lot of work went into creating something that doesn't look too ridiculous. Much better than Lake Placid 2.

Not that keen

I couldn't tell whether this was meant to be a thriller or a monster movie, as it had elements of each but without enough of either to set it in a particular genre.

Primeval Kill

I was very impressed by the convincing crocodile effects which looked terrifying. The acting was good as I noticed one actor was in Blade 3. It was better than I expected and deserves a view.
Killer croc

Know the history of this monster in Africa.....a good adation of the stories but they fell over with the special efferts trying to create a super monster croc when a big croc would have done just fine
