Amateur serial killer mystery

A Customer from England, 17th August, 2007

Unoriginal serial killer story, badly acted to soap opera standard. Filmed for what appears to be a budget of £50 using a camcorder. Any other serial killer film is better than this, please avoid.

Really awful

A Customer from UK, 23rd August, 2007

If you like a film with a believable, unpredictable plot, proper sound and lighting, good acting and actors which are filmed from the front, this is NOT for you. I have no idea how this even got a video distribution deal, I went to the preview screening and it was so bad I had to sneak out before it finished. You will cringe in your seat, so unless you are a serious masochist, don't rent it. The score is so bad it should come with an ear cancer warning!

WOW!!!

Watch this film!! Tough American cop in sleepy English village....this film has to be seen to be believed. Unintentionally hilarious...this is like a student film..or one of those film spoofs by Dawn and French. An example of the script. 'Excuse me..Dr Golding?', 'Dr Beals?' 'I'm worried about Dr Murray'. My ten year old daughter was laughing at the script it's that bad. If you've got a sense of humour watch this turkey.

What message? Who?

redpencil from , 30th August, 2010

I rented this in early July, it's now the end of August... and I cannot remember anything about this film. Yes, it made that much impact! Even when I read the synopsis I had no idea - so one star for being completely forgettable.

it's really true

A Customer from Glasgow, 3rd February, 2010

Once upon a time, i was told that the mark of a bad film is that it has everything that you would expect in a porn film, except nudity or sex. This had been pretty trite and i enjoy awful films because I can laugh at them. Its not just straight to DVD but straight to newspaper giveaway DVD. I stopped laughing after 10 minutes. I would suggest that the original storyline had some promise. that saves this film from getting my first-ever 0. I admit that i never got the suspect right. I wouldn't have minded reading this as a book. However, the acting was so bad (that i was wondering if they were doing it deliberately) The score was more scarier than the film. There are inexplicable plot holes and the supernatural. There is a deeply irritating 'LA Exchange Cop' in the film. I still don't understand why the direction and lighting felt so soap opera. I want to say something in defence of this film. In the 'behind the scenes' documentary, there was an admission that the person who rewrote the film cut out 30-40minutes and added 'cinematic qualities' which may have botched the best bit of the film.

Not so bad....

A Customer from Manningtree, 14th May, 2009

Ok'ish drama thriller which moves at a fairly slow pace, but has Jeff Fahey in top lucid form. If you are expecting a rollercoaster ride of thrills this ain't it but if you fancy a fairly unassuming drama with a couple of shocks, this could be up your alley...oo-er missus!
