A waste of talent

Not so Silent Bob from Edinburgh, 12th October, 2007

This was very much a let down. Why on earth would two of todays most watchable actors agree to be in this? they are completely let down by a plot that is so weak it just doesn't hold up. We have every cliche in the business, so much so that it actually would have worked better as a parody. I hate giving low rating to a film with Cusack in, he is so much better than this, Freeman is miscast, and his little crew are about as fearful as the Stooges.

One contract too far...

PaulaWestwood from , 28th August, 2007

It has the names, ever excellent Morgan Freeman and John Cusack, that lead you to expect something reasonable will be on the table in this Contract, but the names are about as far as it gets. It is pretty much a run of the mill film, that has a definate made for TV quality about it. There is little in the acting or the plot to rescue this from being something you might give up on after half an hour. Not really recommended.

predictability abundant

pihgpaeu from , 7th June, 2007

although this is a good atempt to remake the old lost-in-the-woods-being-chased-by-killers genre the fact is that you can pretty much tell the ending within about 20 mins. There are a couple of good twists and an excellent cast in Morgan Freeman and John Cusack, so if you are looking for a sunday night time passer this is still a good call.

Feeble

Henry Warren from London, 14th August, 2007

The two leads drew me into seeing this. I wish I hadn't bothered. That's 90 minutes of my life I am never getting back. Freeman phones it in and JC just looks faintly embarrassed throughout. I only watched it last night and already I have forgotten the plot. All I do recall is that it was laughable. John, Morgan I hope the paycheck was good, coz this isn't one they'll be showing on your tribute reel.

Very good. Not seen Morgan Freeman in a poor film yet.

So disappointing

Kaz2806 from , 7th February, 2010

Thought that having Morgan Freeman and John Cusack as the leading men would mean that it wouldn't be that bad, but it is! I wouldn't bother...

It is not good at all! Too long and very predictable but John C and Morgan F are fab as usual!
