If those unavoidable Mac ads were damaging to the credibility of Peep Show comedians David Mitchell and Robert...

Abraca-laughter.....

PaulaWestwood from , 19th May, 2007

Having not watched the 'Peep Show' series, and seen these two only on the Mac adverts in the cinema and the trailers for this, I had no real idea what to expect, thinking oh, ohhhh - have I seen the best bits in the trailers. Not so.... this was a hilarious farce on a par with anything I have seen this year, it made the whole theatre laugh out loud all through, with more gags than a Magician could hide up his sleeve. Great to see Jessica Hynes as assistant Linda and it was cool to see the real Ali Bongo in a cameo role that took me back to my childhood TV, lovely.... I would definately recommend seing this for a bit of a giggle, it brightened my weekend.

No magic here

Do you like peep show? Do you like Mitchell and Webb? If the answer is yes your gonna want to see this film. Well trust me don't, it is really bad with poor story line and jokes i think i smiled once but never laughed. Don't tarnish your view of 2 of britains top comedians and AVOID this like the plague

THE COMEDY VERSION OF 'THE PRESTIGE'

Adam from Wakefield, England, 25th September, 2007

To be honest, I only gave this movie 4 stars because I am such a big Mitchell and Webb fan, in truth this movie was poor. It is funny in parts and is o.k on the whole however, I was very dissapointed and I was expecting the kind of standards that the 'Peep Show' achieved. I would still recomend this movie as it is a good laugh but is more like an extended episode of 'That Mitchell and Webb look'. Still worth watching though, for the comedy factor which works brillilantly between the pair who put in a fine acting performance. It is so similar to 'The Prestige' story line that I found it hard not to think about 'Magicians' when I was watching 'The Prestige'. This movie is worth watching, but don't have too high expectations. Watch this if you like: The Peep Show, That Mitchell and Webb look, The Prestige, The Illusionist

This is a very sad film, bad script, most of it unfunny.I love Peepshow and Mitchell and Webb, but this was boring and mostly cringing for them.Very few funny bits.

YOU'LL LIKE THIS. NOT A LOT!

Norman Barry from Surrey, England., 16th December, 2009

I am a fan of Mitchell and Webb and this is pitched in the 'safe' area of their range. Reminiscent of an old fashioned British comedy.
