Not bad

Not so silent Bob from Edinburgh, 5th October, 2007

Considering the reviews this was not bad, considering the cast it should have been better. the only problem I had was that I didn't really give a damn about any of the characters, they were all so self absorbed there really wasn't anyone to relate with. Berry was better than the last few films she starred in but really wasn't all that likeable, Willis smirks alot but I guess he wasn't given much more to do. Riblisi is really good but his character is the only one with any kind of depth. That said this is worth watching and is well put together.

STAY AWAKE!

fiona from YORKSHIRE, 12th September, 2007

Well where do i start! I really dont know why they made this film let alone why bruce willis wanted to take part. Even a day later i am trying to remember what happened! Here goes: Halle berry is a reporter and after her friend is found dead, she has to find out who would want to kill her and why. Her friend came to berry a week before her death telling her about an affair she was having with a top buisness man, hill ( willis ). So berry sets out on her own investigation to try and find out about HILL and with the help of her friend gets a job working for him. This trys to be a good film but it just doesnt work, i cant even say the ending saves it because to me, it didnt. Again another film full of twists and turns. WHO DID IT ? WHO CARES!

Not quite Perfect, but strangely reasonable...

PaulaWestwood from , 19th April, 2007

A pretty reasonable thriller, Rowena (Halle Berry) is a reporter who has a friend apparently 'murdered' by a big shot advertising magnate (Bruce Willis), but all might be not what it seems. Possibly a tad run-of-the-mill in places but enough to keep you occupied for 110 minutes and an ending that is pretty much worth waiting for. Isn't the usual Bruce Willis stuff and he is pretty good in this as in the main is Halle Berry. It won't set anything alight and as a rental certainly not a list topper but isn't a total stinker and is worth a watch.

A surprisingly good thriller, entertaining from the beginning to the end

DanaK from , 27th August, 2007

A mystery thriller, with secrets and twists. I wasn’t expecting much, but it kept me entertained from the beginning to the very end. Halle Berry is great, so is her co-star Giovanni Ribisi (Phoebe’s brother Frank Buffay in Friends) who plays Miles her colleague /creepy IT-geek . He is helping Rowena (H.Berry) the investigative journalist find out how her childhood friend, who was chatting and dating B.Willis, died. Not typical action hero Bruce Willis role, shady character of high power advertising boss with his on-line chatting addiction and weakness for pretty girls, while married to a beautiful rich woman. You hardly get to see him, so if you are expecting Bruce in action don’ rent this! Pretty simple plot, well executed, keeps you guessing. Very realistic insight into on-line chatting and identity switching. If you liked “The Life Of David Gale, Along Came A Spider , Kiss The Girls” you will enjoy this.

Thriller with a twist

A Customer from Huddersfield, 26th February, 2010

This was a good story with a twist I wasn't expecting, despite a few clues, which now I can see from the vantage point of hindsight. Interesting treatment of online acqaintances as well as non-virtual relationships and how we can never fully know another person.

Not bad at all !

Ruski from , 30th January, 2010

This film had quite a good story with a brilliant twist at the end that I didn't see coming. I've seen a lot worse - worth a watch
