With Virtua Tennis 3, the series returns with enhanced photo-realistic graphics and advanced player animations that perfectly match the behaviour and mannerisms of individual professional players. Next-generation systems allow gamers to see the most detailed expressions on the faces of their selected players as they battle to win heated tournaments around the world. Take on the world's greatest tennis stars on any court surface worldwide; with newly added players and improvements to the game's AI, Virtua Tennis 3 has upped the challenge to becoming the top seed of the tennis world. In Career Mode, gamers will travel the world and take on the biggest stars of the tennis world. Improvements to the Player Creation Mode allow gamers to customise their own tennis star with increased detail like never before. Virtua Tennis 3

Incredibly realistic graphics and great fun, plus there is a large selction a fun mini-games. A big down-side is that career mode is incredibly easy and i reached rank 2 in the world in less than a week - only losing one match in the process. I was looking forward to finally having a game with online play but upon loading the game discovered that online play was not included. If you are a tennis fun then this game is worth renting.

Big Dissapointment

Patrick from Cardiff, Wales, 19th April, 2007

I was pleasantly surprised when i first played this game. The graphics are superb, the characters are extremely life like and the gameplay is excellent and very easy to get to grips with. However, i would not recommend that you buy this game as it is ridiculously easy. I played it for a total of about 8 hours in career mode and i did not lose a match. I went from a ranking of 300 to 4 and won every tournament i entered, including a grand slam in my 3rd years as a pro, without even dropping a single game. I thought that network play might just be a saving grace but was left dissapointed again when i found out that it was not available for this game. All in all, a very big let-down.

Pretty, Pretty Boring

jules213 from from London, 4th January, 2008

Um, how pointless. It's like playing pong but in 3d. limited shots, you win by maing the opponent go in the opposite direction and that's about it. Lasted about 30 minutes. Plus, i'm not great at games and i succeded in all training things and won all my games. Hmm. Spare yourself the anticipation of this arriving and being worth the wait.

Buzzbop from , 25th September, 2009

I played the demo of this game a while ago and it got me interested in renting the game, when i got it i was excited to play it. well i played it for about 20 mins and found that it was getting very boring. but the demo kept me entertained for longer so i dont know what it was. I just found it slow and boring. but fun for about 20 mins.

TERRIBLE!......

A Customer from Witham, 19th December, 2008

OK, so the the graphics are v.good and motion of the players is fast and fluid - but the music makes you feel like Mario after too many mushrooms (it's way to hyper!). The game menu if half-hearted in a typical Japanese Arcade style and you would have thought they would have done more on this format. Sent it back the same day! If you are nuts about tennis (evidently I'm not), buy yourself a Wii and get Wii sports much more fun, less serious.
