Magic!

Alicia Monroe from Cheshire, 3rd May, 2007

Loved this TV series and i'm so glad it's on DVD now, It's entertaining and at times tear jerking drama. A seemingly realistic view of life at this time, through the eyes of a catholic liverpudlian family. Lovely to spend a sunday afternoon with, this will be your guilty pleasure- not exactly very cool but enjoyable anyway!

Superb

A Customer from Machynlleth, 14th November, 2008

I watched 'Lilies' the first time round on the BBC; and it has not disappointed the second time round. The Irish/Liverpudlian Moss family - Dadda and the boys are Orangemen, and proud of it - and the girls are Catholic [as was their mother] - are exuberant, and above all, are FAMILY. This is the theme that continues through the series; as is the fact that they love each other and are there for one another. It was such a shame the BBC never commissioned a second series - there are so many threads that could have been continued.
