Four middle-aged men (Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy) decide to take a road trip from Cincinnati to the Pacific in order to get away from their lives which are leading them nowhere. Taking their motorcycles, these "Wild Hogs" tear up the road and eventually stop in New Mexico for a drink not knowing that the bar belongs to the "Del Fuegos", a mean biker gang. When the Del Fuegos steal a bike that belongs to the Wild Hogs, the four men form a plan to steal their bike back.

Hilarious hog heaven......

PaulaWestwood from , 16th April, 2007

For some the line between middle age and teenage gets a bit blurred and when middle age gets comfortable (or not) and you are trying to regain that former glory this is what can happen. This is a really funny movie, ok there is a formula in it, but it is cast so well and the hilarious lines come so thick and fast you won't give a hoot. For me i'd rather go a a triumph (or perhaps a shiny ferrarri red - reliable - ducati if there is one out there pleaaaaase) rather than a Harley, but hey I suggest you get on your bike, whatever it might be, and give this one a watch, a highly recommended fun movie.

Man, that was like Level 12 of Doom.

JediSi from , 3rd November, 2007

I thought the movie was hilarious, it's 'City Slickers on Harleys' sort of humour. Four middle-aged guys stuck in a rut and bored with life in general, looking for adventure to break the monotony. I thought the actors portrayed their characters with authenticity and must have had tons of fun making this extremely entertaining film. I especially liked the scene of John Travolta (Woody) and William Macy (Dudley) practicing dancing together. Most of the scenes were somewhat predictable, this doesn't stop you laughing out loud. Just take it for what it is, amusing entertainment, and you'll be sure to enjoy it. Sometimes we just want silliness to escape from reality, and these guys handled it with finesse. It is remarkably similar to City Slickers and I would've given it a four, but as an avid biker the Harleys got it that extra star. Good clean fun.

Very Funny!

A Customer from London, England, 16th April, 2007

Dont be put off by the critics. This is a very funny movie. Lots of gay humour which is not offensive. Good acting by all the cast. I think William H Macy is the only leading male out of the four who has not had a little nip/tuck but he is still cute. All the actors were fanfastic and the little male singer at the Madrid Fair deserves 5 stars alone - he is hilarious. I can't think of anything bad to say about this movie. Nice to see it is making lots of $$$$$$ it deserves it.

I am going to take my life

chenny from , 16th March, 2010

That is a lie... but an entertaining lie... an eye catching lie... but a lie that means something at least. This film on the other hand is worthless drivel, almost fringing on genius. And yet so many of you love it. You love it despite all its many faults ... despite the fact that it has no regard for plausibility, honesty or subtlety of any kind. I am a coward, so I am not really going to take my life... in fact I am such a coward that I am going to embrace this film and invite some of my friends round to watch it.... naked. x

I watched this twice and laughed even more the second time! It's just my type of humour. Tim Allen and John Travolta were marvellous. Really recommend it.

Completely fails to hit the mark.

Bewchacca from , 4th March, 2010

It seemed like such a funny premise. Yet limp acting an an awful script managed to remove the possibility of any laughs. The whole thing has the feel of a low budget sitcom episode stretched far beyond its capabilities. In particular this movie seems to be trying to cram in a 'gay joke' as many times as physically possible. John C. McGinley from Scrubs plays some sort of bizarre sexual predator cop who keeps trying to get into bed with the lead characters - much to their discomfort. In the film he mistakenly comes to believe the lead characters are gay. This makes them fair game for all sorts of unwanted sexual advances according to the scriptwriters concept of homosexuality. This subplot strikes all the wrong notes and comes across as disturbing rather than funny. I'm not sure who exactly they were trying to please with this 'gay is funny' thing. For the conservative minded viewer it is a put off being repeatedly exposed to things they will not find funny. And for the gay viewer, they have to suffer through the indignity of repeatedly seeing gays presented as the comic 'other'. Rather akin to the way 'blackness' used to be used as a comic foil in and of itself Perhaps it is pitched at those who are not quite conservative enough to find gay jokes distasteful, and who are just bigoted enough to find negative stereotyping funny? This movie never rises out of the gutter long enough to be funny.
