Hillarious, grim and moving.

Les Apprentis follows the lives of two both hapless and slightly inadequate young men through a rough period in their lives as their landlady sells their rent free apartment. The film focuses on the wonderful relationship that exists between the two men showing how they support and go out of their way for each other, despite seemingly only having their mutual lack of personal success in common. The unique humour of the film is also a major focus and it brings so much to the farce. There is also a very unselfconsciously challenge to stereotypes of asexual romance only existing between women. The pair continously share a bed together and they repeativly affirm that they arn't intimate and yet as the story progresses and their situation becomes increasling worse, they become closer to each other . Having left so much out for the sack of browsing all that’s left to say is this film must be seen to be appreciated, it’s excellent.
