Popular talk show host Bobby Bishop (Vincent Gallo, BUFFALO 66) appears to have it all. But after years as one of America's kings of late night television, he suddenly feels empty. After a meltdown during his live show, he leaves Los Angeles for New York in search of his ex-girlfriend, Lily (Courtney Cox)--the woman whom he never got over. Lily has her own issues with the success that Bobby has obtained since breaking up with her, and her own circle of crazy friends and relatives will do anything she asks to keep Bobby away from her. A vibrant cast headlines this unusual indie comedy/romance.

Radio Times

A very offbeat satire about the cult of media personality, featuring Vincent Gallo as a revered talk show host suffering a nervous breakdown and Friends' Courteney Cox as his ex-wife, who still harbours feelings for him. The stars work well together and the script overflows with quirky, bittersweet twists and turns. It overdoses on its weirdness motif, however, weakened by a mental home subplot that verges on fantasy, coupled with a daft Sex in the City obsession that just goes too far. Not without its merits, but this curious, confused black comedy plays like a rough cut in need of judicious pruning.

Arty romantic comedy

steviebobs from , 30th September, 2004

A chat show host(Gallo)is hooked on his childhood sweetheart (Cox), who half fancies him and half thinks he's a total arse.
It is an enjoyable arty romantic comedy with lots of good characters. The film moves along nicely with some very funny scenes.
Gallo has an amazing cinema presence - Buffalo 66 is one of my favourite films.

impressed

A Customer from scotland, 6th April, 2007

I began watching this movie thinking it wouldnt be THAT great considering i only really got it to see courteney cox in it but i was pleasantly surprised. The whole Sex and the City/matthew brodericks dog thing seemed pointless and im gunna be forever scarred after seeing THOSE Tate Donovan scenes but apart from that the whole film was really enjoyable. Don't expect a flowery girly chick flick though its more quirky and straight to the point and finally Vincent Gallo is awesome!!!!!!!

Not worth it!

A Customer from Oxford, England, 18th January, 2005

Despite this looking like quite a good film, I thought it was a very poor story line and not worth watching.

Utter rubbish

A Customer from Devon, England, 2nd February, 2006

Just goes to show that you shouldn't watch a DVD just because you like one of the actresses. I can't believe Courtney Cox allowed her name to be put on this utter tripe. Sorry, but I just thought it was rubbish and can't believe I wasted an hour and a half of my life watching such an awful film. If you are a Courtney Cox fan don't watch this as it will ruin your opinion of her!
