A Good Try From The Tekken Team

James from Plymouth ,UK, 21st September, 2006

This game is graphically perfect, the special moves look SWEET! But what stops me from giving this game a 5 Star the Tekken 3,4,5 Characters don’t follow the same moves as before which is a great disappointment, at times the game play can be a bit slow, as Tekken tag is. For Hard Core Tekken Fans it’s a must buy, otherwise I would recommend to rent before you buy.

pugilistic pleasure

luke a.d.w from London, England, 15th July, 2007

this handheld version of arguably the best fighting game series does not disapoint. if you are a fan of any of the orignals on playstation, you'll love this. it has almost all the characters from all the games and most of the moves, although i did find some moves much harder to pull off as a result of the difference in d-pad on the psp. the best thing about the game is the fact you can share it with friends, so no need for two copies of the game. the loading times for game sharing are not too bad either. theres plenty of game modes, (with tekken bowl even making a welcome return) with the new dojo and ranking system (that i have not really, admitedley fully explored yet. looks good though) adding even more longevity to a genre of game that normally lacks depth. how do they fit it all on such a tiny disc! all in all a great game that is perfectly suited to the 'stop and go' nature of gaming on the commute to work. well worth a go.
