Bringing back the entire ensemble from the original hit comedy, AMERICAN PIE 2 finds Jim (Jason Biggs), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Oz (Chris Klein), and Stifler (Seann William Scott) reunited for the summer after their first year at college. When the boys rent a beach house, even more familiar faces--such as Vicky (Tara Reid), Jessica (Natasha Lyonne), and the Sherminator (Chris Owen)--begin to appear. Soon Jim discovers that the gorgeous exchange student Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) will be making a romantic visit, and, in a panic, he heads for band camp to seek sex advice from the flute-playing Michelle (Alyson Hannigan).
A worthy follow-up to AMERICAN PIE, this outrageous and entertaining sequel flaunts even more absurd antics and unlikely couplings. Erotic attempts continue to go awry, and musical instruments still find their way into the most inappropriate places. And once again, Eugene Levy brings down the house as Jim's nerdy yet understanding father. Fans of the first film will not be disappointed.

Radio Times

Bawdy comedy American Pie was an unexpected financial success in 1999 and amazingly for a sequel, the whole cast has returned, including Seann William Scott, Mena Suvari and the wonderful Eugene Levy as Jason Biggs's embarrassing dad. The humour remains the same — rude, crude and lewd — as the gang gets together for lots of beer and sex at a beach house following their first year in college. Apple pie lover Jim (Jason Biggs) realises he needs to improve his sexual experience when he hears the beautiful Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) is coming back to town, leading him to track down his only sexual partner, Alyson Hannigan, and ask for her advice. This involves the placing of a trumpet in an unusual location, but we won't spoil it by saying where. Sure, the comedy here isn't sophisticated and it's often predictable, but if someone superglueing his hand to his, erm, member gets you giggling, you'll be laughing too much to notice.

Old dudes can enjoy this two

Waterboy from from Hertfordshire, 28th March, 2007

I'm definitely not the target audience for this film, but after hearing so much about the first one from my nephew, I watched it and enjoyed it. This sequel is equally funny and the original cast reprise and develop their characters nicely. Yes much of the humour is about teenagers preoccupation with sex, but don't let that put you off if you are over 30. We've all been there and this is a much better film than most of Hollywood's teen focused product.

A Sequel To Equal!

Garrie Lines from Devon, England, 24th January, 2004

Very rarely do sequels compare well to the original but those guys dipping their bits into apple pie have done it again.

The cast from the first slice return for an extra helping and amazingly, the laughs return too.

More unbearable situations for Jim Levenstein who must have friday the 13th tatooed on his head.

Some truly hilarious situations, don't miss it!

It's a 'lads' film, not Panorama.

Sharkster from Herts, 19th May, 2004

As my other half would say “It’s a lads film, childish and silly with women flashing their boobs”, and you know what? She’s bang on! It’s a lads film. Watch it expecting cheap smutty boob gags etc. and you won’t be disappointed. This was not made to evoke philosophical debate on the state of ‘mankind’, or enlighten the watcher to a worthy cause, so it doesn’t. Watch it, laugh a lot and enjoy. I did.

The best one of all I think!!

Thomas Perkins from Plymouth, Devon, England, 3rd January, 2008

This is the best of the trilogy (the 3 new ones don't count because they're not anywhere near as good) of American Pie. This one is hilarious I think and it is where Jim realises that he loves Michelle. I want to tell you all the best bits but I don't want to ruin it for anyone... Let's just say that the very best, most hilarious scene in all the films involves Jim and some Super Glue!! LOL! Another highlight involves Jim, Michelle and musical instruments.

Same thing over again

A Customer from London, 17th December, 2009

There was one long funny scene but except for that it was pretty light and not very interesting or educating. They basically continued the first movie without adding much at all. I wouldn't really recommend to watch it unless you really want to!

Not as good as the first one, which is the usual pattern with sequels, however it was still good and I am a great fan of the American Pie franchise.
