Inside job

Mbub from Westbury, Wilts, 15th May, 2007

This movie is about a bank robbery and what happens within the bank and with the cops outside. Don't go into this movie expecting miracles, its not fantastic. The acting is good, but to be honest it doesn't make much sense really. I wouldn't buy this movie, or watch again, but that is only my opinion.

Twists and turns and keeps you guessing...

Nic from Liverpool, UK, 29th March, 2006

My initial scepticism about seeing a Spike Lee film (given his last few efforts have been below par) soon disappeared, in fact, 10 mins into the film i was hooked. I am one of those annoying people who likes to try and guess plots and twists, but it had me guessing pretty much till the end. This is a film about a bank robbery, a conspiracy and a dark secret, and it even has a few laughs in it as well. Denzel is starting to look old, so the hot young girlfriend is a bit of a stretch(!), but he plays a good part. See this film, and tell me if you guessed what was going on...

Needs a better rhythm

Tij from , 11th September, 2006

3 great performances by Owen, Foster and Washington, if you take them seperately.

Something just doesn't sit right though the flow of the film is just that little bit off. Its worth watching however you might be a little disappointed.

brilliant if disc had worked

carlsob from , 15th March, 2010

of what i saw of this movie, I was quite impressed. Denzel Washington (Training Day), Clive Owen (International), Jodie Foster (Silence of the Lambs) & Willem Dafoe (Spiderman) all star in this hostage/bank job movie. Fraught with contiunual twists it was going very well until about 50 mins in the disc completely froze. I had to skip about 20 mins further into the film to continue and so i lost a big chunk of the plot

Pay attention!

TinyD from from Wimborne, 1st March, 2010

A sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat, pay attention movie with some excellent parts played by Jodie Foster and Clive Owen. Not predictable, it is a good watch movie that will have you guessing right up to the end.

Promised a lot more than it delivered

HappySomeone from , 30th January, 2010

I'm not sure what to make of this one. It was an OK film and I enjoyed watching it ...but was it any good? I'm not sure! It was well made and well acted, but there was something about the story that wasn't quite right. I think it was the ending. What appeared to be a clever film was wound up a bit cheaply and nonsensically in the last 20 minutes. It promised a lot more than it delivered.
