...adequate?

superba from from London, UK, 6th November, 2007

More 'Braindead' than 'Evil Dead', I'd say. The acting is quite clunky which can distract sometimes, but the gore and death scenes are very enjoyable, and the hillbilly narrator is a nice touch. To be honest, the film never lived up to the phenomenal opening titles for me. Call me harsh, but they deserved to open a better movie than this.

Pathetic

Rustyfilms from , 19th February, 2010

I usually try and write a review that someone may find helpful. I almost can't be bothered with this one, this film is just stupid, annoying, cheap, pathetic and a complete waste of a rental. Please only rent this if you like laughing at bad films, for the wrong reasons. It tries to be funny, but just annoys the hell out of you. I'm getting mad now so I will stop!!!!

Utter tripe

Mark from Coulsdon, Surrey, 3rd November, 2009

Having read some of the reviews about this film, it seemed to be leaning towards the 'It sounds OK, give it a go' camp. How wrong you can be? Dire nonesense, and seemingly without any purpose or direction. Horribly acted, (David Carradine must have watched the rushes, then literally lost the will to live), terrible filming, atrocious sound, and quite frankly an embarrassing 'story line'. This will be added to the list of shockers - but for all the wrong reasons. You've read it a thousand times before, but please take my advice and DO NOT WASTE AN HOUR AND A HALF OF YOUR LIFE - you're better off going to IKEA or doing something else more rewarding.
