Festive feelgood..

This is a wonderful dream of a movie that just soaks you in and blankets you with warmth. It is one of those very special treats that just makes you feel all warm.. and..oh yes... It will make you cry.. even if you are a 6ft 6 ark welder from Hull. You have been warned, watch it at your own risk with your kleenex.. but just watch it..

Cheese Fest

I am all for a good girly film, but this was like a cheese souffle. The Family Stone are an awful bunch, really rude yet we are supposed to sympathise with them disliking Meredith. The film sets up emotional, romantic scenes which just don't work. I got bored and couldn't have cared less what happened to the characters by the end of the film. If you want to drool over Mr Mulroney then watch My Best Friend's Wedding it's much much better.

You would expect a romantic comedy - but it is not at all. Not really funny and actually no point to the story. disappointed.
Mediocre, at best

I really thought I'd like this. The film has some great actors in it, and I'm always up for a good rom-com.... However, the plot has some ridiculous twists and turns and it tries to do WAY too much. Such a shame...
