Jaggu (Jackie Shroff) is a young slum-dweller who will do anything to earn a fast buck. He is the right hand man of a powerful drug-dealer. He is also in love with Tina (pooja Bhatt) who’s struggling to run a small fabric-dyeing business. When Jaggu’s mother is hospitalized, his anxieties get the better of him and he bungles up a crucial assignment for his boss and is arrested on a tip-off. The boss now finds a new man, Raja (Anil Kapoor) to take over Jaggu’s job. Raja also falls in love with Tina. When Jaggu comes out of jail, he is shocked at the way things have gone in his absence...
