Who destroyed the professor's desk? Who bombed the campus police van? who raided the sorority house? Who else... the Ghoulies! Those wise-cracking demons are back in their third outrageous misadventure - this time in a head-on crash course through the halls of higher learning. The college 'pranking' championship is up for grabs - and each fraternity is trying to pull the most spectacular stunt. But now, they're about to get some real competition. Nutty Professor Radnar has the Ghoulies under a spell that he thinks will help him stop the dangerous pranks once and for all. So, the Ghoulies are enrolled - and they're ready to give the fraternities a bitter taste of their own medicine. Now the college really is an animal house. Watch the fun as The Ghoulies have a great time bringing down higher education.

Radio Times

The razor-toothed Gremlin clones go to Glazier College to indulge their playfully murderous habits in this literal Animal House sequel. When Professor Ragnar (Kevin McCarthy) uses a comic-book spell to summon up three demons, the rubber imps emerge from the toilet to play lowbrow fraternity pranks involving topless girls in Pscho shower routines, underwear raids, a dash of sadomasochism and plenty of lavatorial humour. More Porky's influenced than anything else, this atrocious horror comedy sinks the already lame series to a new low.

Why is this film in the Horror Section ?

djshepdog from , 21st August, 2007

I love this film I think it is so FUNNY!! Why did they put it in Horror and not Comedy? If you have seen Gremlins and you liked it then this film is a must see. If the Demons are suppose to be scary then think again, even my Son who hates horror films watched and loved this movie. 5 STARS

Better than the rest

JonClarke from from Bury, 30th May, 2007

Forget Ghoulies 1 & 2, they were both crap. This one blows them both out of the water. Unlike the first two this film does not try to be a serious horror, more like a slapstick horror/comedy. Why did my school never have a 'Prank Week'?

I remember it being better

Dave Partridge from Bath, England, 12th February, 2007

Not sure if I've grown up now, but I swear that Ghoulies Go To College was hilarious when I was in my early teens. Focusing on a sterotypical US college 'prank week' there was plenty of scope for the demonic trio to have endless fun. What transpires though is a second-rate Animal House clone with just the occasional cameo by Hell's version of The Three Stooges. Add to this a poor support cast led by Jungle Book's Jason Scott Lee and a non-speaking part from a young Matthew Lillard (Scooby Doo, Scream) and it's just not as good as I'd hoped. It's better than the first movie and the campus security is slight comic relief, but the film is not a patch on Ghoulies 2.
