Frankie is a young lad on the run from the high-rise ghetto of South London, to a new life in the Costa Del Sol with nothing but a tin stuffed full of cash in his hand luggage. Having no idea that this delivery of cash, to super-suave playboy and ex-con Charlie will change his life forever, he soon becomes one of the gang, and finds himself drawn into a flamboyant and violent world of organised crime. Great 3rd Film From Nick Park

Millsey from Hastings, 28th December, 2006

After seeing Goodbye Charlie Bright and Football Factory I decided to see The Business. Its a great film, with an excellent soundtrack, and the acting is equally good. But the only reason I have only given it 3 stars is, there is nothing new about this film, it follows the exact same pattern as his previous 2 films, but you know what they say, if its not broken...... I totally recommend this film, for Danny Dyer alone, but again Tamer Hassan gives a great performance.

DANNY'S BACK ON TOP FORM

deeboy from LONDON, 24th January, 2006

Danny Dyer back in the role which suits him so well...

Funny, good fun, nicely shot, with enough action and intrigue to keep you amused and the retro feel a nice touch...

And you even feel sorry for poor Danny in parts!

Very Disappointing

JonathanRoss from from Salford, 9th March, 2006

The films has a promising start, only to go into a predictable storyline of very little substance. The casting and acting is also very poor. I like gangster films but there is nothing new here. It might have more swearing than Train Spotting and more drugs than Scarface but that's really the only positive things which can be said about this film. Music, I am a great fan of 80's music but this film had far too much. The music was used to cover the lack of dialogue, however, given the actors inability to deliver a convincing line, this was probably a good thing!

Brilliant

Janjoy from , 14th September, 2009

I can thoroughly recommend this film. The authenticity of the 80s was excellent - though I must say it didnt dawn on me at the beginning !!! I didnt know before if Danny Dyer would be any good - but he blew me away. Just sit yourself down, make a cup of tea - or beer - and settle down for a great couple of hours entertainment. The twist at the end was unexpected.
