More schmaltz than the average person can stomach. Bette Midler and Dennis Farina play feuding divorcees, meeting up at their daughter's wedding to a politician who trades on his squeaky clean image. It's not too long before they realise they still fancy each other. Alhough there's a nice quick-fire repartee between Midler and Farina, they aren't exactly in the Astaire and Rogers class when it comes to bickering. You'll probably be able to guess the outcome five minutes into the proceedings. One to watch out the corner of one eye only.
