Meanwhile, back in Sunnydale, Giles tries to figure out where Buffy is and her mother Joyce blames the Watcher for her daughter's disappearance. Buffed Up

A Customer from London, 22nd December, 2004

The thing with Buffy is that its very good. This Season is no different. There are a few of the 'weaker' episodes, but on the whole the overall story progression is gripping, many of the ideas excellent, and all is flavoured by that ever entertaining quirky/comedic dialogue. If you've not seen Buffy before, start from the beginning, Season 1. And watch them all back-to-back if possible. It's the best way to get into a series in order to fully appreciate the character and over-arching narative development. Although of course in familiar US TV show tradition, most episodes have a relatively stand-alone quality. Season 3, whilst not my favourite Season overall, still delivers nonetheless.

Demons and vampires and slayers: oh my!

A Customer from Norwich UK, 1st January, 2005

Season Three finds the whole gang restless - almost grown up but still at high school and therefore confined to the rules and regulations. This is manifested in the big bad, sinister and slow moving until the last disc, as usual. Willow gains a boyfriend and Angel and Buffy continue to torture each other (not literally) over their psuedo-relationship. THe finale is well worth seeing, 'Graduation Day', parts one and two. Faith is worse than ever, acting as the dark to Buffy's light. Faith also intereferes in the Scooby dynamic, encouraging Xander to strike out on his own in 'Zeppo', a truly inspired episode. A must for Buffy fans so they can show all their non-Buffy friends.

This is the best tv series ever written! All 7 seasons of Buffy are simply excellent - you must watch them all! Sarah Michelle Gellar is simply delicious! This is a highly entertaing series about a girl who fights vampires, demons, monsters, etc. It is extremely witty, funny, well written and action packed.
