Finding out about the potion, a Roman Centurion kidnaps the druid to learn the secret of the potion, leaving the village's hero, Asterix, to save the day.

Not very exciting :-(

The Asterix books are a great series but are one of the books that cannot really be descibed on a film. Also, the cartoons on the film are not very good quality.(as they are old)

I don’t believe anyone on this planet has the ability to choose a movie for me or you for that matter. We all have different tastes in everything we do, although they are similar they are not the same. Most films you see have a basic synopsis so from there look at the 2 points and make your own decision whether or not you want to watch something. Don’t always go on someone else’s word. Here are a couple of tips that have served me well for many years. The choice is yours, whether or not you use them is solely up to you. 1.WHO RELEASED IT? First you need to see which company released the film, like Universal, Lighthouse, Malpaso, Fox, Columbia, Fox and so on. The List is long. Most of the well known companies release fairly decent stuff as they have a budget to do so and can afford the big name actors/actresses. Sure they can make stinkers but the majority are ok. You will come across names never before or seldom herd of which is when you go to the next point. 2.WHO ARE THE MAIN ACTOR/ACTRESSES? Most well known’s make pretty decent films when linked with major companies not forgetting that they are also prone to a stinker every so often but same as the company the majority are good. You might be fooled into a nobody film because sometimes they have a well-known in the film and use them to sell it, but on viewing it that well-known is only in it for 2 minuets and is dead or gone leaving you with a cast of unknowns. Sure they can be good films but the majority is reversed with mostly stinkers and a few good ones. Saying this you will also get well-known going it alone or lesser smaller companies but because they good actors and you like them for that reason the film would be well worth it. Remember this ‘’One mans poison is another mans cake’’ ‘’To one a mind quit empty is more use than one to full’’
