Another subterranean horror for 2005...

What is it with movie makers... just as soon as one cave horror film leaves the screens another shortly follows? Compared to The Descent this one has less blood, but better storyline, more variety on 'monsters' but still couldn't believe it was only a 12?!? The cave scenes themselves were brilliant, every cavern had it's own theme. Definately worth going to watch, but not if you are about to visit the Cheddar Gorge whose takings must be down this year due to the onslaught of the cave horror shockers of 2005!

Disappointing

The action scenes in The Cave are confusing, and difficult to see what is going on. Released around the same time as The Descent - I would advise watching that instead.

A very slow film
A Customer from Lincolnshire, 30th December, 2005
If you like mindless 'horror' that needs no acting skills, no depth and no real scares than this is for you. I found this film incredibly slow moving from start to end, and slightly confusing in the way it chopped from one situation to another with no clear cut plan...in fact I re-wound it a few times to see if I had missed something, but I hadnt...the film maker's had! I am sure this appeals to some (and so it should as it would be a sad world if we all liked the same things) but having said that it wasn't for me!

Cave, stay in the dark

This is a bit disappointing, especially when compared to decent. The creatures are laughable, and could never have come from a human mutation.
