A taste of things to come

I have to say I was never really a fan of sex and the city when on TV. But after watching it from the start I can see why this program has such appeal to both women and men alike!
This is definitaly one to watch.

PLEASE NOTE HOWEVER, THIS DVD IS NTSC. IT WORKS ON REGION 2 PLAYERS ALTHOUGH IT OUTPUTS A NTSC SIGNAL WHICH MAY CAUSE THE PICTURE TO BE IN BLACK AND WHITE ON SOME SETS

Fab, Funny and Fantastic

My partner and I have never seen any of the sex and the city episodes so we thought we would rent the first season as my partner is off long term ill at the moment. Well all I can say is that I cannot believe we have never seen it before because it was hilariously funny and miles more adult humour than you miss with the likes of friends that continues to use the same puns on a regulare basis. Fantastic show. Can't wait to rent the next season.

Can't believe I missed this!

Can't believe I missed this first time around - I absolutely loved it! The story lines seem really wild, but hey, it's just what girls are like. A must-see for blokes who want to try to understand their women better!

not as good as I remembered

Of course its good its sex and the city, but i was a little disappointed as i haven't seen it in such a long time I had totally forgotton it, its not as good, or exciting or funny as the last few series but it is defiantly worth a look if your s&c fan!

Had never seen any of Sex in the city until the film came out, I was instantly hooked and just had to see how it all started. I was'nt disappointed and can not wait to see series 2.

Ok, but not quite sure what all the fuss is about

As a 20- something woman, I'm not quite sure how I've managed to go this far without seeing Sex and the City. I have to say, I wasn't overly impressed with this first season. This is an ok TV series, but I really didn't get what all the fuss is about. To me, there are many better series out there. This seemed a bit of a one-trick pony, going over the same material (what it's like to be 30 something and single in New York) without much originality or wit. The characters seem rather one-dimensional and by the end of the series, I was bored of the same old 90s feminism. Maybe later series get better, but this wasn't terribly funny or thought-provoking, and hasn't made me want to watch on.
