A New York City drug dealer decides to get out of the business, but has to flee from mobsters.

The most mainstream movie directed by underground film-maker Amos (Subway Riders) Poe has style in abundance and a great performance by Vincent Spano but virtually no plot. Tough Spano is a Lower East Side drug dealer with plans to retire until mobsters force him to go on the run. When Spano is centre stage this violent slice-of-life drama crackles with menacing intensity. Otherwise, it's a rather bland affair that goes over too much familiar ground. The music is by Nile Rodgers of Chic fame.
