this series is superb. At Kennedy High School, there are two very different sides of the popularity circle. On one side, you have the Popular crowd, which is headed by Brooke McQueen (head cheerleader), her boyfriend Josh Ford (Star Quarterback), her best friend Nicole (the meanest girl in school), and Merry Cherry (the richest teenager on the west coast). and on the other side, you have the un-popular crowd, with Samantha known as Sam Mcpherson (a budding reporter at large), her guy-friend Harrison (the typical outcast), Carmen (a larger girl with a heart of gold), and Lilly (the boyish activist). Through all the years they have attend school together, they have always wondered what it would be like to be in the others shoes, but still keeping a safe distance from each other. But then their worlds are turned upside down, when the head girls, Brooke and Sam, of their respective groups, find out that in a little less than 9 months, they will be more than rivals... they will be sisters. Brooke's father Mike, and Sam's mother Jane, after becoming romantically involved with one another, move in together, forcing Brooke and Sam to co-exist under one roof, as well as at school. Repeatedly, Brooke and Sam each set out with good intentions, only to end up hurting their friends and fuelling their antagonistic relationship, towards each other. well worth watching.
