Great film

Liz from Lancs, 16th June, 2005

If you love your comedy chick flick films then this is for you. Starring Debra Messing as the single lady and Dermot Mulroney as the escort she hires to go to her sister's wedding as her ex is going to be there. This is a very predictable film but a fun one all the same. You don't need to be a Will and Grace fan to see this but if you are you'll love to see Debra in something different

Rent this film immediately!

Francis Houseman from Autumn Falls, England, 29th September, 2005

This film was fabulous, I rented it and decided to buy it after one viewing. The acting is spot on and desite a sometimes sad story line this film has you on a constant feel good vibe. The comedy is flawlessly delivered be it a witty line of a facial expression, does't hurt that the male lead smoulders his way through the film. CHICK FLICK NOTICE : IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS FILM YOU MUST RENT IT!

So-so

bliss17 from Gloucestershire, 25th April, 2005

I don't know what I can say about this film. It's one of those films where there isn't much to tell. Not good and not bad. Worth watching on the cheap but I watched it at the cinema and to me, it was a waste of money. Guess it's okay for a boring, wet weekend in-doors.

Brilliant Movie

flyinfree77 from from dundee, 23rd August, 2005

I thought it was a brilliant movie, if you have ever been a single girl going to a family occassion then you could totally understand where it comes from. It had modern day problems and solutions for the age old problem. It makes you wonder all the movie if love will conquer all or if modern society will win over everything.

Fantastic

MiniG from , 15th January, 2010

My girlfriend rented this film out and I thought 'oh great, chick flick, i'll fall asleep through this'..... I couldn't have been more wrong. From the first scene I was taken in & I absolutely loved it. Debra Messing as far as I'm concerend provided a true all round world class acting lesson in this film. She can play happy, sad, angry, sexy, playful, turned on, drunk & do it so convincingly you forget that she is only acting a part. Alot when you see an actor acting drunk it is ridiculously put on & doesnt even look real, with Ms Messing it was so natural and believable I think she had a bottle of Jack before doing that scene. On top of that she has got to be one of the most naturally beautiful women in hollywood and I cannot believe that she has not been given a fairer crack of the whip in hollywood cause she is an absolute legend waiting to be discovered. Together with Dermot they hit it off so well & what an absoultely fantastic bit of casting they did there getting those two together. If she wasn't married you would want those two to get together, they look great together. Quirky, tugging on your heart strings, everything you would want from a rom com. If you have any doubts about this film, get rid of them now & get it rented

ROMANTIC FLUFF

A Customer from Nottingham, 5th January, 2010

Debra Messing does what she does best...another version of her character 'Grace' from tv's 'Will & Grace'. That said, she is always likeable, Dermot makes a handsome if rather wooden co-star (too much like his character in 'My Best Friends' Wedding' - typecast?), & on the whole this is like junk food...fun & happy at the time but within half anhour of finishing it it's forgotten & you crave for something a little more substantial! Watch with a glass of fizzy wine, popcorn & possibly a few slightly giggly mates!
