Move over Bill and Ted

LORDVADER from Essex, 23rd August, 2005

What a surprisingly good movie. It is simple and to the point. Two friends get stoned and desire the ultimate snack, they see an advert for White Castle burgers and decide to drive to the nearest one - nothing else will do. This then involves a night of sex, drugs, car crashes and ultimately finding oneself.

A movie in the vein of American Pie, but smarter and funnier.

Must watch film for comedy fans !

conley from Lancashire, 13th March, 2005

This is a really funny film about two stoners who end up on a trip to white castle and lots of hillarious events happen in between. A must watch for a good laugh.

I've got the film on DVD already because it's already been released on DVD in America.

Great!

Grogs from Surrey, 6th April, 2005

I loved this film so much! I first saw this ages ago when it was in the cinema in America and then bought it on DVD when it came out over here. A real must see, this may not be to everyone's tastes seeing has it has references to drugs or whatever but I found it very very funny! The plot seems very plain, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. But it's not as simple as that...

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think "Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle" is the American title. I believe that over here (and I think the rest of Europe too) this film is know as "Harold And Kumar get the Munchies". None-the-less, it's a great film, so get it!

Surreal amazing journey

A Customer from Wirral, England, 13th April, 2007

Harold and Kumar get the Munchies is a much underrated and overlooked film. This is a hilarious tale of the eponymous flatmates who get stoned and realise the only thing that will satisfy their munchies is burgers from White Castle. They set off on their quest for the ultimate stoner food and (as the cliche goes) hilarity ensues. So much adventure is packed into 80 or so minutes: Kumar performs surgery, they meet a drug-addled and incredibly horny Neil Patrick Harris who steals their car, they ride a cheetah and much much more. If you ever want to see a film with a fantasy sequence in which a man has a love affair with and married a bag of marijuana then this is the film for you. It's also got a lot to say about the way in which society views Asian and Indian people. It's just completely ace. Watch it.

Stupid but...

Stupid but...funny & that's what we all need at the end of a long day or week - a bit of good old fashioned harmless, slightly stupid & pointless fun!

Harold & Kumar Get The Munchies

I really enjoyed this - didn't think I would but I did. The story is stupid but its funny and well enough written to keep you interested. If you want silly, brainless fun then this film is for you.

AKA Harold and Kumar go to White Castle

Skiddie from , 11th October, 2009

Predictable set-pieces, but still funny. Some are quite good. It's worth getting just for the NPH scenes. Worth noting that the original (US) title is Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.
