Too Long Coming

A Customer from Surrey, 16th May, 2005

This has been far too long in the coming and worth the wait. True classic TV and can't be beaten, this is awesome, great old soundtracks, rolled up jacket sleeves and plenty of action. This is the coolest thing ever to hit TV and DVD and is a priority for rental. Can't get better.

Miami Vice series 1 FANTASTIC

mike west from England, 12th April, 2005

The first series of Miami Vice was the best, Michael Mann was fresh with new plots and style. The best program on telly in the 80's a must see.

Awesome!

Javid777 from England, 3rd October, 2006

Disc 3 is a great! Crockett gets framed, Tubbs goes deep undercover and Castillo has some amazing one-liners (as always). One of the best from the first series.

Superb! I thought perhaps the clothes, music and acting would be dated. Nostalgia factor high but it still has an edge to it not found in modern day cops and robbers stuff. The music has to help a enormous amount, Jan Hammer's lp stayed at number one for twelve weeks and may still be the highest selling tv themed album of all time? The baggy white suites and pastel colours are making a comeback this spring and the cars, although the Ferrari Daytona in this first series was infact a modified Corvette. Ferrari gave them the white Testarossa after realising its potention sales. So all around well worth the watch.

The Blueprint for all shows

H from MK, 7th January, 2007

This programme not only redefined TV, it influenced so many shows and movies, even to its day, there's some kind of reference / homage to the greatest show ever. Each episode was like a hour long film, with great scripts, tense acting and superb soundtracks. Miami Vice was truly a groundbreaking TV show, there's been nothing like it since, and I doubt there ever will be.
