Good,but dated

A good balance between a war story and a love story.It would have been better if the leading lady was a better acrtress.Aparently she was married to the director.She comes accross as a bit mad! Still at 2 and a half hourds it doesn`t drag at all. I watched it on a sunday afternoon with the curtains drawn and enjoyed it.

Life's a bitch

I first saw this film forty years ago I then remember being very impressed. Jennifer Jones who enchanted the young me then now seemed more than a little whacko. The Tyrolean location--if true was interesting but overall the film now disappointed. All that I was left with was thank goodness for the N.H.S!
