Armed with the power of "the craft," these novice witches gleefully take vengeance on their enemies, but ultimately their indiscriminate use of power catches up to them.

Radio Times

In this engaging teen version of The Witches of Eastwick, four schoolfriends discover that sorcery is a real help when it comes to relationship problems and dealing with their various physical and emotional worries — until one of them seeks real power, that is. The attractive cast of stars-to-be (including Scream's Neve Campbell and Skeet Ulrich) makes skilful use of plausible characters and a smart script that puts a sinister spin on female bonding. The glossy style and neat visual effects combine with a few genuinely creepy moments to lift this above the average genre fare, though the full-on sorcery showdown belongs in another movie.

Occult Cult Chick Movie

WeeGingerFaerie from from Inverness, 23rd August, 2007

I absoulutley adored this film when it came out and would watch it regularly. Now i'm a bit older i can see the film isn't quite as amazing as i thought it was in my early 20's but i will still defend it from critics. The two lead girls put in really good performances and whilst obviously unrealistic in the results of spells cast it still holds true to the manner in which spells are cast and the knowledge that witches hold. So much better than all teh over teen occult films out there such as the dismal The Covenent which i thought would be like a male version of this.

Bewitching !

LadySleek from Birmingham, 20th February, 2005

I liked this film, it's one of my favourites of all time. There is a great soundtrack, which I later brought.

The film is really about revenge and comeuppance. It's a bit of a teen flick really. I loved it!

A MUST SEE!

Guilty pleasure.

Dan from Kidderminster, England, 3rd October, 2009

I had very low expectations of this film, considering the cast and the out dated look. But to my surprise I really enjoyed this film, not something I would watch over and over. But for me personally it is worth watching every now and again. With a simple story line, good acting, which I didn't expect. But still only three stars, because their are better films out there. But mainly one for the girls :)

Enjoyable

Pheraya from from St. Leonards-on-Sea, 25th September, 2008

Not quite what I had expected from the synopsis, I admit, and the film seems a tad ... outdated today, but overall the film was both enjoyable and not overly predictable.
