i dont know why the people have reviewd it like this....arent hindi guys fed up with the formula movies (shah rukh, amitab et al ,good songs, bad direction, laughable story line) that sums it all.please please be more materialistic...shah rukh as always gives such a bad acting in this.what he does is not acting yaars..its overacting..and the courtroom scene is so pathetic..my god..

A Customer from London,, 17th February, 2005
I saw this film in the cinema, and what a film it was, worth watching i kid you not! I simply loved the story line, Shahrukh Khan as a sikh man & Preity Zinta as a muslim girl both charecters were spot on and what a great ending not you normal, happily ever after. Worth watching if not just for the charecters.

Magical

Veer Zara is a moving, magical, colourful story of tragic love. What is a simple story, is told in such a grande and touching way, that it almost feels as if Veer Zara is an eternal love story of the like of Romeo and Juliet. I was very moved and touched by this story. It makes me wonder, can two people really share but a few moments, and give themselves to each other for eternity? Highly recommended for anyone who believes fairy tale love could happen.

Not up to scratch
A Customer from Land's End, England, 25th August, 2006
I've read some of the other reviews for this film and it seems that you guys haven't checked out many other Bollywood flicks. True enough this is a beautiful love story, but many other films from Indian Cinema will give you the same gushy feelings but will be hugely more enjoyable....and considerably shorter!! Not my favorite Bollywood film to say the least.

This was an amazing film. Even though it had a happy ending I did fell really sad after watching it. Such a beautiful film. Love SRK and Preity Zinta. Can't say anything else about it, too special to put into words.

If your,e looking for any club scenes or the normal semi-naked dance routines churned out in bollywood recently, don't bother watching this! This is a very well made colourful, vibrant, and CLEAN family movie it,s definately worth watching
