Excellent Keep fit to Funky Music

SHATOMA from Northants, 17th March, 2005

This is by far the best keep fit DVD I have ever come across, you might think it's more for men to have a good look at ladies in leotards, but that is not the case!

The workout is great, Deanne goes through the moves quickly and after a few times round you soon pick them up!

If you like dancing you will love it!

a bit 80s

A Customer from derbyshire, 26th January, 2005

I am a qualified fitness teacher and thought I'd try this dvd. It starts off with a neck stretch before you are even warm, not only that but also pulling on the neck and backward flexion (a real no no). The dancing workout was ok but not much emphasis on safety points. The girls are more interested in parading about in there little knickers.

Effort Rating - 8/10

I'm trying lots of fitness dvds and will review them all so watch this space . . . Good points - Not for the novice exerciser, but a really good workout. The aerobic intensity ramps up from warm-up thru dance and then hi-energy before a brief but effective 'bums& tums' and a good cool-down. The dance moves are achievable (try the Charlie Brooks Before & After dvd first to learn some basic steps!) and fun, and great for body confidence. The instructor does look like Barbie/My Little Pony, but gives excellent instruction throughout. Yes they all have fab bodies, but so what? I' d rather end up looking like that than the instructor on the Elle McPherson dvd . . . and there's a cute guy in it too! Worth buying, it is difficult and interesting enough to last a while, and great fat-burning/toning. Bad points ; Can't think of many - I'm not bothered by the clothes and 'sexy' dance moves, tho you might be.

Great for burning calories

Kate2008 from from Ferndown, 28th August, 2008

I have owned this DVD for a couple of years now and still play it regularly. I have tried various of other workout DVDs - I find Davina's too easy and Nell McAndrew's good but repetative and it gets boring after the second time through, to be honest. It will take you a few tries to learn all the moves, but that keeps your mind busy and before you know it you have burned 300 calories! Highly recommended for those who like dancing and club-type music. The soundtrack and choreogrpahy are excellent and I love Dianne!
