Arnold Vosloo dons synthetic flesh once more as deformed superhero Peyton Westlake in the second sequel to the 1990 fantasy horror. This time the Urban Bigfoot is pitted against evil drug baron Jeff Fahey, who is determined to learn the secret of Westlake's strength. Fahey enlists his mistress, the beautiful doctor Bridget Thorne (Darlanne Fluegel) to make Westlake an offer he can't refuse. With executive producer Sam Raimi (who directed the original Darkman) and returning director/cameraman Bradford May maintaining the quality and integrity of both previous adventures, and a well-realised script accenting character as much as explosive gimmicks, this comic-strip horror escapade is a worthwhile addition to the series.
