It's Izzard... what more do you really need to know

It is clear that this is one hid earlier videos (if the not the first). The ridiculous opening sequence (and making of) is a real laugh. The show does start off a little ... strained ... like Eddie is trying a little too hard to win over his audience, maybe he was self-conscious of all of the cameras. 15 minutes in though, I am laughing at Eddie Izzard's brand of comedy, which is unique, well rehersed. If you have never seen Izzard, this title is as good as any of the others he has done, and they are all brilliant.

Fantastic

I think this is one of the best (although not THE best) Eddie there is. A favourite for any old school eddie fans who have followed him from the beginning, not the best for people who are new to eddie. A wonderful hilarious show based on a journey through time, although as usual thats only about 50% of the show. Classic Eddie at his best

Classic

This is Classic Izzard at his best. There was a stage recently when his stand up was not upto what it used to be, but you can forgive him by simply resorting to this stuff.

It seems like Izzard is educating you as well as making you laugh..... and thats a good think in my books.

Well worth getting!

Eddie Izzard - Glorious

I was looking forward to this as we had seen another Izzard dvd quite by chance (name forgotton) and thought it had v. funny moments. This unfortuantely was quite tedious, like listening to someone else's precocious child being indulged at a dinner party, where you're chortling along with everyone else, while secretly longing for the parents to pack him off to bed.
