"Seven Gates" is the story of a pair of brothers on their way to a family holiday party dealing with their own anxieties and family problems. 5 Stars for the title film anyway!

Well you can just ignore the rest of the films on this collection realy. 'Seven Gates' is a boring film where nowt happens billed as a 'surreal comedy'. It is niether surreal nor funny. The others are ok but not memerable or worth seeking out at all.The main film however... 'Franz Kafka's It's A Wonderful Life' is just what you might expect from the title: very silly and a wee bit dark too. Kafka struggles to decide what Gregor Samsa should be tranformed into but events conspire to turn one classic into another! Some bizare ideas and visuals and a great cast headed by Richard E Grant in a role he seems to have been born to play make for a very entertaining watch.
