Incredible!

Mike Nightingale from Cardiff, 17th November, 2004

This piece, masquerading as Science fiction, is incredible. Incredible that the fairly well known actors would have touched it with a bargepole!
The, tissue thin, "plot" - stated in the "blurb" sounds like a recipe for some light entertainment, but nothing "life changing."
However, the obvious intention, revealed in mind nubmingly poor writing, is to do just that, to convert the viewer into a fundamentalist christian.
(I think even fundamentalists would be hard put to enjoy this!)
A more blatant atempt would be nigh on impossible, but for a sermonising preacher to be on screen for 90 minutes!
Key plot points - daft to begin with - are settled by unexplained "Miracles."
The writers must have been praying a lot, as they certainly didn't put any effort into the writing - I've seen better stories written by twelve year olds.
The Director must also have been doing his fair share of praying as there seem little directing going on.
Special effects? Amazing! - if you count gunshot sounds but no gunshots, hits or wounds ever visible!
I'm fairly sure that most christians would cringe at every ridiculous moment of this... drivel.
For students of bad film only, or as punishment perhaps.
You have been warned!

Rubbish

boogieBikerBabe from Hampshire, 6th April, 2005

This film is more about christianity rather than a good sci-fi. It a good versus evil and christianity is the good! Don't do it.

666 the number of the beast

A Customer from Kent, 14th April, 2005

This is NOT a science fiction movie. It is a religious tract. If you're looking for scifi you'll hate this movie. It is slow, dreary and very preachy. If you're a Christian fundamentalist you might love it. I didn't.

Just Please Don't

A Customer from Leeds, 18th December, 2007

I would just like to say that I think I deserve a medal for sitting through this really aweful movie. I suppose that you could say that it is story of good verses evil but never have I found it so easy to poke holes in the storyline and the fact that it is a very very thinly veiled piece of Christian propoganda really started to annoy me after a while. What really got me annoyed however is how anyone could be so criminal to make a movie with as many plot mistakes and coincidences as this. None of the characters were believable - as was none of the story - even taken as faith. Don't rent this out.

How do films get this bad?

A Customer from England, 17th June, 2007

This film is appalling. Really. Imagine the worst film you've ever seen. Imagining it now? The shoddy production values, the clunking script, the metaphors that are about as subtle as an anvil to the head? Six is worse. Although, if you're drunk enough, it goes through bad and right round again to hysterically funny.
