Oh no!no!no!

A Customer from SW London, 4th December, 2007

The previous 2 reviewers were right: this film does not do justice to the great Jimmy Dean! The actress playing Pier not only had the worst Italian accent I've ever heard but she couldn't act to save her life and a bit skunky looking too! Casper van Dien was NOTHING like Jimmy Dean. He didn't even make an effort to be like Jimmy Dean (no easy task though). Couldn't they find someone who looked more like Jimmy Dean, at least if he couldn't act he looked like him. Seriously, as a James Dean fan I was appalled how some silly Hollywood people have boiled down this great actor's life to a stunted love affair and his need for speed that resulted in his death! Jimmy Dean life was a sum much larger than all that, which is why he is an icon! His movies are watched, his look and style imitated today for a reason, and the people that made this pathetic excuse of a film should have concentrated on that and in the process honour this great actor's life and memory!

If you love the original J.D. you will not accept this faux immitation.
Read his biographies, watch his films and give this a miss.
