The town of Roswell, New Mexico, has been haunted for decades with accounts of a looming alien presence. The popular television series ROSWELL takes that concept one step further, as aliens become everyday teenagers. Four alien-human hybrids (Shiri Appleby, Jason Behr, Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fehr) have been sent to Earth to wait for the day when they'll return to their planet and save their race, but they don't really know that yet. But for now, their battles are the everyday struggles that normal teenagers must face, like spots and school. Blending straight drama with elements of sci-fi, ROSWELL is an engaging drama that works on numerous levels. This release contains every episode from the show's first season.

Awsome!

Andi Farrow from Derbyshire, England, 11th September, 2005

This series had me and the wife hooked for weeks. After watching the 1st series, 3 or 4 episodes a night, we went out the day after finishing it and bought the next 2 series and watched them with as much excitement as the 1st series. The charectors are well written, the script leaves you needing to watch the next episode as soon as the 1st one is finished. A good soundtrack, though different from the One when aired on Sky TV for costing reasons. Hense it taking an age to be reliesed on DVD. Well worth watching.

Roswell is out of this world

Leonard Bennett from South London, 2nd June, 2004

This has got everything. A cross between smallville and Dawsons Creek. There is something endearing about this series and you soon warm to all the characters. I would encourage everyone to see it and then buy the box-set!

fantastic stuff! the connection between max and liz is what we dream of having - all that intensity and destiny. a good mix of characters, story lines and teenagers with the emotional reasoning of 30 year olds . . .not to mention the secrecy and possibilities that surround roswell. watch the lot over a rainy weekrnd with douvet!

Super

The One from England, 17th February, 2007

On viewing the first episode of Roswell, I must admit I was on the verge of switching it off, and classifying it as a bad job. However, as an optimist and someone who never likes to leave things unfinished, I persevered. I have to tell you, my perseverence paid off. I am now hooked on this show. After the first few episodes, the main characters really develop some essence. The view begins to create an attachment to each character, and begin to feel apart of the story. The characters all have substance, and apart from the character Liz being somewhat 'over bearing' at times, all the actors are very believable. The show leaves a sense of 'what next' after each episode, the structure leaving a lot to the imagination, hooking the viewer with the possibilities of what is going to happen in later episodes. Overall, a great show. I cannot emphasise enough that you should watch 2 or 3 episodes before making a final decision on whether to watch anymore.

Sooooo good.

Welshy30 from , 22nd June, 2009

Very additictive. Took a while to get into the characters but their development is brilliant. Just when you think they can't possibly go back to the way things were, more twists happen. Excellent, can't turn the series off when I have them.
